I was really thankful that the rain stopped for a bit
so I could do some work on the French drains around the domes.
I used a 4" perforated pipe in a filter
cloth and buried it in gravel all around the domes.
I used the Bobcat to start filling dirt in around the
domes.
The pipes hanging on the chimney are flush outs for the French drains
While I was working on that, they were breaking into the mini pods.
You can see the layer of foam insulation, and the concrete with rebar.
Another layer of foam and we are ready
for some rebar.
Later that day, I started installing the conduit
and electric boxes.
Then I decided to try to move some more dirt around the
house, and got the bobcat stuck, and unstuck.
With the ground this wet, I had to put down some
plywood,
and run the bobcat on that to keep it from sinking.
Dallas is
up to number 6 all time for rain this year, and it's still November.
Perfect time to be building a house... NOT!!!
