I delivered 2 loads of doors and windows to the worksite in the last few weeks.
I had to select windless days to transport them in my truck, and I wisely had help unloading the second time..
When the weather permitted, we moved more dirt around the house so they can start on the elevated main entrance..
I let them start it last Saturday morning, and I
continued till the rain started again.
I am having them add some pigment to color the surface layers
of concrete.
Here I am matching a sample with the dirt in the area, so the house
will blend into the landscape.
It was nice to finally see out from the inside, now
that they have cut out the openings.
They have bent the re-bar outside, preparing to make the retaining lip that will hold the dirt above the openings.
They have made a flat roof on the small pod, which will
serve as the floor for the main entrance.
