August 2007 Dome Building updates

These are some views of the domes from down at the lake.

I have been busy building retaining walls and planters to cover the domes.
My sister Deb, helped me make a cover for the skylight to keep out the summer sun.

Now that the guest bedroom dome is covered, I am working my way up to the skylight.
I am putting in French drains so I can collect the rainwater off the roof, and use it in the garden.

I need to order another 50 tons of rock to finish the retaining walls.
It's hard to believe that I have already placed almost 120 tons of rock, and still need more.
